<< <i>Wow... your license looks old... looks like the license my dad got back 10 years ago... >>
New Jersey is switching to flashy digital licenses now--the DMV I went to is getting the equipment for them next week... damn, I wanted one... oh, well--I can still drive
Actually, the older NJ ones don't even have pictures--like the ones my parents carry.
Be careful & enjoy!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
<< <i>Since when did they institute the 'profile' shot? Or did you just photoshop a phony photo to keep your appearance secret? And if you did photoshop the photo, why did you use one with that hairstyle? If thats your real hair, well, then, never mind. >>
The profile shots are for anyone under 21--that way you can't flash it quickly and buy alcohol... the picture is a dead giveaway of age. And the hair, well... I have a lot

I think they do what our DMV does. If you are under 18, the picture is profile left. If you are 19 or 20, profile right. 21 and over straight on.
BTW, happy belated b-day
I just sold my car!
Congrats!!!
fly over New Joisey. If I have to travel up that way, might go by
submarine.
Of course ,when a bear talks about submarines, then next thought in
our mind is sandwiches. MMMMmmmmmmm, submarine sandwiches.

Congratulations Jeremy!!
But let me know when you are driving thru Ohio so I can stay home!!!
Just kidding of course!
<< <i>But let me know when you are driving thru Ohio so I can stay home!!! >>
Why would I ever want to drive there?
Guess that means I am safe!
I wonder how long before the off topic police write you a citation!

Hey nut...what exit ??? BWHAHAHA. (My sis-in-law is from Morristown)
<< <i>You have to be 17 to drive in NJ? Wow, it is 15 here. My oldest turns 10 in 2 weeks, so it is time he starts to learn how to drive. >>
Yup--oldest state in the country... permit at 16 after 6 hours of instruction and the written test, restricted at 17 after a road test, full license at 18. It's older here because there is a population Actually, in the more rural areas of NJ, if you can prove you need a license for agriculture, you can get it at 16. Regardless, no one under 18 can drive in New York City, period.
<< <i>Hey nut...what exit ??? BWHAHAHA. (My sis-in-law is from Morristown) >>
I don't know the exits yet But Morristown is about 10 minutes on Rt. 24 from me... you know the Short Hills Mall? I live less than a mile from it.

<< <i>I thought the profile shot was saved exclusively for convicted felons? Is there something you're not telling us? >>
Who says I've been convicted?
<< <i>Regardless, no one under 18 can drive in New York City, period. >>
It's been my experience that nobody over 18 can drive, either.

<< <i>Hey, I think it is on now. I worked in Parsippany for 3 years so I am really familiar with the area. I hope the shows are at the Sheraton, you know the one that looks like a caste... >>
Nope--they're at the PAL building. I've stayed at the Sheraton--VERY nice hotel

I remember the paper drivers license I got at 17.
Here's the Readers Digest Version of The Guide To Being From New Jersey:
You're a genuine New Jerseyan if you recognize and can relate to these:
1. You still call the PNC Arts Center the "Garden State Arts Center" and Brendan Byrne Arena will always be Brendan Byrne NOT Continental Airlines Arena.
2. You've been seriously injured at Action Park.
3. You don't think of citrus when people mention "The Oranges."
4. You know that it's called "Great Adventure," not "Six Flags."
5. You've ordered a hard roll with butter for breakfast.
6. You've known the way to Seaside Heights since you were seven.
7. You've eaten at a diner, when you were stoned or drunk, at 3 am.
8. You remember that the "Two Guys" were from Harrison.
9. You know that the state isn't one big oil refinery.
10. At least three people in your family still love Bruce Springsteen, and you know what town Jon Bon Jovi is from.
11. You know what a "jug handle" is.
12. You know that a WaWa is a convenience store.
13. You know that the state isn't all farmland.
14. You know that there are no "beaches" in New Jersey - there's "The Shore," and you know that the road to the shore is "The Parkway" not "The Garden State Highway."
15. You know that "Piney" isn't referring to a tree.
16. Even your school cafeteria made good Italian subs. And you call it a "sub" not a "submarine sandwich" or worse yet, a "hoagie" or a "hero."
17. You remember the song from the Palisades Park commercials.
18. You know how to properly negotiate a Circle.
19. You knew that the last question had to do with driving.
20. You know that this is the only "New..." state that doesn't require "New" to identify it (like, try ...Mexico, ...York, ...Hampshire - doesn't work, does it?).
21. You only go to New York City for day trips, and you only call it "The City."
22. You know that a "White Castle" is the name of BOTH a fast food chain AND a fast food sandwich.
23. You consider a corned beef sandwich with lettuce and mayo a sacrilege.
24. In the 80's you wore your hair REALLY high.
25. You don't think "What exit" (do you live near?) is very funny.
26. You know that the real first "strip shopping center" in the country is Route 22.
27. You know that people from 609 area code are "a little different."
28. You know that no respectable New Jerseyan goes to Princeton - that's for out-of-staters.
29. The Jets-Giants game has started fights at your school or local bar.
30. You live within 20 minutes of at least three different malls.
31. You can see the Manhattan skyline from some part of your town.
32. You refer to all highways and interstates by their numbers.
33. Every year, you had at least one kid in your class named Tony.
34. You know where every "clip" shown in the Sopranos opening credits is.
35. You've gotten on the wrong highway trying to get out of Willowbrook Mall.
36. You've eaten a Boardwalk cheese steak with vinegar fries.
37. You start planning for Memorial Day weekend in February.
And finally...
38. You've never pumped your own gas.
<< <i>I'll be there in June for a wedding. Fortunately in South Jersey in Glassboro. >>
that would be area code 609 - they're "a little different" down there
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.
Always looking for nice type coins
my local dealer
Gassed up in Mahwah, NJ (gas was 1.599) and even stayed a while at the State Line Diner on Route 17 in Ramsey/Mahwah, NJ. It is probably the best diner in the state although the one in Bordentown, NJ rates a close 2nd.
I pumped my own gas too in defiance of state law.
No sign of airplanes.
40% of all traffic accidents involve drunk or stoned drivers.
Thus, 60% of all traffic accidents involve stone cold sober drivers.
Hence, stone cold sober drivers are the worst menace on the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
