cut/pasted from a post I made yesterday but Very applicable here.
I don't mind it and the ebay listings but it seems that there are always people that
1. refuse to put EBAY in title 2. refuse to put ebay in title and instead substitute FOR SALE........uh........It's NOT for sale 3. people that continously ignore the unwritten rule of TTT'ing ONCE per day and starting multiple threads at the same time for a couple of coins and TTT them more than 1x/day. Thread titles like BigD uses (for example) are always going to get me to look inside! 4. people that say that a website is updated...........personally I don't understand these threads 5. if it isn't an actual coin/coin book for sale, wanted, auction, make offer, then I think the threads should be removed
I agree with goose, I don't mind the EBay auctions posted in the BST forum... but when I'm at school, I can't get on EBay, so I like to easilly be able to discern FS coins from FA coins...
Just food for thought, so please THINK about it before you start typing-
ebay is seen virtually worldwide
Have you ever stopped to think
1- Your fellow collectors are posting her really out of courtesy just in case you happen to need such an item.
2- That those who post their ebay wares here in most cases offer fellow board members free shipping and in many other cases they offer to cancel listings outright to accomodate our little family first!
I like to look at the ebay offerings on the BST board. I'm just a lurker here and a very part time ebay user. The last time I sold coins on ebay I promoted my auctions here because I thought it would add a certain bit of legitimately to them. If I were a scammer a cheat or a thief this is the last group of people I would want hounding me. My $.02
I like what Boom said... and I always look on the BST before I go to ebay.... and if I know a board member is an ebay seller, I check their offerings first. Just a matter of trust... Cheers, RickO
The BSTC should be set up to limit ONE or TWO post per member per day. This is easy to do with software. If you need to contact a member use the PMs. Simple easy way to cut out all the BS here

a loudly outspoken minority.....
because they let small, insignificant details get under their skin...........
trying to make everyone else do things their way.....
because it will make them happy........
and we have to hear about it.....
again and again, and again......
To paraphrase my friend Dennis, "If I wanted to be nagged, I'd shut off the computer and spend more time with my wife!!"
Any received abuse relating to this statement may be politely ignored!
(Please make note that I DO try to follow those self-imposed guidelines as noted by Goose!)

So tell me, where's the harm/ the wrong in that?
Ever looked at it that way? Post on!
I never looked at it that way, but you have a very valid point!
(And put in a clear concise manner as well.)
Thank you for an added perspective!

If I want to look on ebay for something I'll look on ebay.....I do not want to wade through the "check out my ebay auction" on the BST board.....
AL
I guess I'll wait to TTT my BST thread until later........

Preach it brother.
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
There's a reason I call it the Ebay/Bullion board.
Great poll...
Buying top quality Seated Dimes in Gem BU and Proof.
Buying great coins - monster eye appeal only.
If it was going to happen it would have by now.
