The coins for the third qualifying round of the World Series of Grading are on the way to Baltimore.

This will be a very "interesting" group of coins for your coin grading pleasure.

Why can't you use the same coins in portland? Just hold back the results and don't allow people who took the test in Balt to participate.

Couldn't use the same coins in Portand because,

1. The Baltimore participants would scream for their results

2. The dealers will find a way to figure out amongst themselves what the coins are.

Dealers aren't necessarily dishonest...but they do always look for an edge...

It is a PCGS slab, blue label with one small black number in the bottom middle. 01-40. Thats it. No question mark or any other letters or barcodes.

Don't be afraid to "throw the graders a curve" by sticking one of dem der Seatud Liburty type coins in the mix. No one would be expecting such a thing. Doubt anyone would get within 3 points of it.
