I feel violated. Where do I file my claimimageimage.

I would actually find this concerning had I ever used a credit card through paypal.

    Thank you, Eliot Spitzer.

  • Glad to hear it. Altho, I haven't ever had a problem - I love it when the big boys/girls are put in their place - and glad that those who were ripped - were compensated. Puff - can't you do something? Now would be the time. image

  • According to a Tech-TV report, every 60 seconds eBay rakes in an excess of 40K,... 150K will be barely noticed.
Make it 150 million and then you might get their attention.
Must be tough for a company to make 40K per minute (after overhead) when nearly 92% of the work is automated.
Wonder how long before PayBay raises their fees yet again to cover the high cost of doing business?

I say hats off to Spitzer. He made a good example for other state AGs and the FTC to follow.

Even then, it would only take 2.6 days to cover such a fine. Imagine that!

  • I strongly urge anyone who hasn't already dumped Paypal to do so. They have burned a lot of people and you could be next!

I am certain I have lost sales because many folks want to use paypal and I don't offer it. I am tempted to use it, but I think I just decided to do without it.

    $150K?

Bwahahaaaaaaa. That won't buy a trailer down by the river.

By the time you read this thread, they'll have made another $200K.

God bless eBay/PayPal! A match made in Heaven.
