Picked up this Stone Mountain at a show today.
Okay, so it's not hot or nuclear. Matter of fact, these are downright common. But most of the ones I see at shows are bleached bone white and just don't look good to me. This one has a nice original patina with plenty of luster and dashes of lavender. It was sitting in the dealer's case right next to a blinding white one and there was simply no comparison. Cool thing is, he wanted less for this one then the other.

I have a nice toned one as well. Although I don't see why a yank like you would want a coin with General Lee on it.
Since you have it in hand, Russ, what would you grade the coin?

I WAG it at MS64. Strike looks a little weak to me. BUT, I really don't know how to grade these. I just like the way they look.
