A request for Jester

Today I downloaded all Jester's Challenges. I look forward to an entertaining evening

One small request, though. The pictures of Challenges #1 and #100 (weird numbers, I admit it) are missing. #1 is an Isle of Man copper from 1798 and #100 is a Polish 5 Zlotych from 1936. Is it possible to repost them here?

That's a nice 5 zlotych piece, Jester, with original color.

I have several of those in XF and AU, but they've all been cleaned - not harshly, but still cleaned. I've found that most dealers in Polish coins, especially the ones who are Native Poles, are still stuck in the old mentality that almost everything should be dipped.

John, not all dealers dip, but many do frequently. What I find more dispicable is the virtually requisite practice of handling the coins all over, even uncirculated and proof coins, as well as the insidious and pervasive use of PVC across the board. Too, as you can see, this coin was also cleaned, but a long time ago. Apparantly it was de rigeur for collectors a long time ago. I know the history of this piece and a whole collection I bought from a friend whose grandfather had hoarded these since WWII; apparantly he scrubbed them all many decades ago. Then he hid them in a cacao tin until last year. In fact, the toning is more colorful in person.
