1971 OPC Bobby Orr PSA 9

Good Afternoon Gents:

Well I remember the 1971 OPC PSA 8 Checklist #111 drew quite the conversation about whether or not it was worth the price. Well how about the 1/2 1971 PSA 9 Orr double trophy card. I see that it is getting up there too and it is on nice looking card. So any one have a ball park for this one. It is well past the SMR so I am assuming that there is a demand for it.

    I think that is just good looking card....the layout is great IMO.

    pretty insane. I was debating bidding 500-600 when he 1st listed it. , what do I know . makes me consider selling , my 1/2 72 opc orrimage

    This is one of the reasons I abandoned a brief attempt to collect the Bobby Orr Master Set and decided to just stick to the BoSox. Orr and Bucyk are my all-time Bruins.

    The 1971-72 OPC Bobby Orr # 251 PSA 9 from this set 1/2 at the time now has a pop of 3 sold on ebay September 30,2003 (seller Hometownsports) for $316.11 (to ebayer SPMEM). There were only 2 bidders over $200 on that card

    Agree with Basilone i really like the layout of the award winners from that set.

    I don't think anyone can!. you kind of knew he was shooting for the stars when he said he recommended overnight shipping at $50. It will be interesting what happens at the end. recently a 1970 opc decle bobby orr psa 8 sold for $750 , another moonshotimage I hope this is inspiring a few of you guys to pur your cards on the market or get them gradedimage

    eh, regardless of the reserve, Marc is a stand up guy. i recently bought a PSA 9 OPC Messier RC from him and he shipped the card before payment even arrived because i am going out of town soon.

    Yes,

    That's the one. I'm guessing that he bought it off of my buyer
    for double the price, and is now selling it for 49.99.
