If it was a PCGS slab I'd say the one on the left is the new one because of all of the scratches.

Um - yeah - well - I think this is the first documented case of a PCGS coin being crossed into an NGC slab - oh well - had to try to see if I could get the PL designation. NCS did a really nice job with the coin. On hand it has a lot more contrast than it had before - and the star is kinda cute.

I saw this coin at the FUN show when it was in a PCGS 66FBL slab. It is a really cool coin.

I've tried to get a PL designation out of NGC for franklins twice (too different '59s, which are also known to occassionaly come PL), but I did't get a PL either, I didn't even get a "*", although they weren't giving "*" when I sent the first one in about 7 years ago.
