slab scratches

Howdy...

I know this has been talked about before but I can't find the thread. What is that magical stuff that takes scratches out of slabs? Also, where do ya get it and how much does it cost? Thanks all.

I wonder how well a dremel would work, though, with the polishing attachment? I think I'll have to experiment later...

For minor scratches or "cloudy" slabs, I use a children's gel toothpaste (no baking soda) with a microfiber shammy you'd use to wax a car.

Soft Dremel, buffing wheel works fine as long as you do not allow the slab to overheat. You can use toothpaste or 1200 grit rouge on the wheel.
