Lucky Penny slabbed by PCI? Never seen this before..

Here's an interesting slabbed coin... Mighty high price but I have no idea about them.

Interesting item and he's right about the Trends $ amount for MS65 but someone failed to do their homework. The 'lucky' horseshoe should have the opened end at the top.

Now I've seen it all. A PCGS 1908 MS65RD IHC trades at $500 or less. A gold insert PCI is generally way over graded and possible even recolored [can't tell from the image]. Avoid it like the plague.

The grade must apply to the whole item. The coins themselves are damaged by the encasing process.
