New Kids on the block (Kinda Big images)

I added these to my collection courtesy of the post office on Saturday. You are welcome to guess the grade and flavor of plastic. I will post grades later. The Half Crown, may be considered a little funky by some folks, it's an over all rose color with steel blue (gun metal maybe). Mongoose has seen them both in person.... I like 'm image

1902 Half Crown Edward VII (I only have one more Eddie to go to finish my type set of him image)

I can't grade Eddie VII coins. I suck at it. Add toning and I'm totally helpless.

    Anyone seen Joe recently?

Very nice coins! For the first one, I would say MS64/65. I have a MS63 of the same coin, and it doesn't look near that nice.

edit: just noticed that you already posted the gradesimage.

  • I don't know what the grades are, but they look great!

I especially like the rich brown obverse of the George III coin.

  • The 1806 is no doubt full luster, and the fields are really NICE. The coin has a lot of eye appeal.image

I would have guessed 64 BN for the penny, due to the slight spot on the reverse. I like the Edward halfcrown, it's funky. If it's the one from NEN I hate you. I had the intention of buying it for my type set (only this, an Edward shilling, an Edward crown and a George V early crown to complete the Whitman 20th cent. shilling to crown album).

    Very nice coins, excellent pictures.image
