Is NTC worth beans at grading early dates?

I'm contimplating purchasing what NTC calls an MS63, but leary as to what PCGS/ANACS might counter back with.

Edited to add: Has anyone else purchased NTC and crossed them through PCGS or ANACS, and if so, what were the results? I realize this is all based on a coin by coin basis, but in general, are they ok with early years or usually way off the mark?

The coin I was looking at buying I would have judged from the pics as AU58 at best (as raw). So goin with my insincts and what y'all are telling me, I've just saved myself a bit of heartache and indigestion.
Many thanks!

I have only bought one NTC holdered coin, at the Clearwater, FL show last year, it was a 1926-S Standing Liberty Quarter graded MS 64. The coin was clearly an AU 58 ( light rub on Liberty's right leg ), and a dealer realized the overgrade and charged me AU 50 money for it. I was more than pleased as the coin has a 95% FH. I've since cracked the coin out and it now resides in my Dansco raw book.
Here is another example of buying the coin, and NOT the holder.

Unfortunately people don't get coins put in NTC holders for that purpose. They get them slabbed so that they can sell them at "bargain" prices to those who don't know any better.
The last few NTC graded dollars I have seen have been way off AU-55 and 58's graded Ms-62-64
You can find good deals in their holders, but are more likely to find overgraded/problem stuff in them.
