New Record for Coin on Heritage Exclusively Internet Auction

This coin was brought up on the boards last week. Turns out the coin sold for $1 (+$6 buyers fee). When was the last time anyone can remember a coin selling on Heritage for $1? Anyhow, the "lucky" bidder probably paid about $12 in total for this jewel (including postage/sales tax etc). My question is if the hammer was $1 and Heritage gets 5%, what proceeds does the seller get? I recall somewhere that the minimum "fee" per coin is $5 so if it sells for $1, does the seller get nothing (assuming its a consigned coin) or does the seller OWE Heritage $4 to cover their fee? Interesting question....at least to me. Any thoughts?

Cameron, the minimum buyers fee is $6.....that's why it shows $7.

Who cares why it happened !!! My hope is that some begining Y.N. won this coin and will be thrilled to get it and an interest will be sparked in the best hobby on earth.

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.
