Inspired by some of the regulars in this forum, I wandered into a local coin store last weekend. I only had a few minutes (and a rambunctous toddler) but these two coins in the display case grabbed my attention. I tried to photograph them to show the colors, not my best camera work, but the sun and the tripod were expecially uncooperative today.

I think by the toning the '54 may be a Mint Set coin. The '56 is just dripping with luster and may take a ride to California soon.
One Saturday I'm going to go back to this shop with more time and fewer children. He had a whole stack of 60's and 70's proof sets sitting on a shelf gathering dust with my name all over them

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

From the pics, the '54 looks like it may be clean enough to warrent an ms66 grade. The '56 looks like it could have some chattering on the neck. Too dark an area to tell, though. Nice color on both.
Again, Nice finds.
