That MadMarty.....is a nice guy. I did a show today in the Marty's backyard (Chicago area). Marty was nice enough to give me directions to the show, bring me a cup of Starbucks coffee, and best of all, gave me one of his AU58 Franklins. Thanks Marty.
In fact I had so much fun, I'm planning to do another show in Chicago in about a month. BTW, although I am originally from IL, I now live in MN, where it is extra cold this time of year.
Oh, and on that AU58 .... don't be deceived by Marty's apparent grading skills, although it is an AU58 (PCGS was right), it does take a bit of effort to find the rub

In a few weeks directions to Countryside will sent in a PM. Your coins raised the bar at the crappy Itasca show! It was nice having some fresh coins at a "same crappy dealers, with the same crappy coins" show!!!
Hmm, I'm know worried about the '21 Peace dollar I'm sending in
There was a show today in Chicagoland, on Monday?
Where was that at?
Thanks
Tom
THe chicagoland shows are on Sundays
1st Sunday of the month, Lemont
2nd Sunday of the month, Countryside
3rd Sunday of the month, Itasca

Just like Gumbo down south!!!

Trust me Cammy that is not going to happen (the sample slab thing). But I do see a number of 1966 DDOs in my future!

The show was on Sunday. When I posted at 1;10 am Monday morning, I was still thinking about Sunday.

Hmmm ... those two GSA Morgan Marty showed my didn't seem to be AU58s, but maybe that is why Marty had them.
