What is wrong with these?

What do you think is going on here? They are all large cents and appear to be silver plated. Some are done nicely, while others appear to have been dropped in molten metal. The last coin is worn almost smooth, but looks funny. (on far right on group photo) It looks like a draped bust type, but again looks silver and has a seam around the rim. It is 29mm so not right for a quarter or dollar.
Anyone care to guess?

They got beat with the ugly stick.

Truthfully, I don't know what happened. Perhaps somebody tried to pass them off as an error (struck in silver).
