  • Funny, but not a slab. It's a flip that isn't even sealed.

Grading cert that includes a price!!! Wow! What a concept. image Maybe it's sealed with tape?
  • He doesn't show the PAK certificate. If it is a photocertificate then it would be acceptable.

    hey Mike

how far back do they date?? it seems i've seen about 3-4 different photo-certificate "slabs" with the oldest being a mid-late 70's ANACS and the most recent from the early 90's with the company not coming to mind just now. the PAK Full Step Nickel Club started sometime in the late 60's i believe, so do they have some of these that are that old??

  • The oldest photocertificates that I know of are the ANACS certificates which will date back as far as April of 1972. PAK was an old organization but I didn't think it dated back before the 70's and it has died out and been reborn at least twice. I haven't seen this PAK certificate yet but the seller assures me that it IS a photocertificate. Back in the early 70's when I started collecting PAK did issue certificates but I don't believe they had photos.

The most recent photocertificates that I can think of off the top of my head are also ANACS. The ANACS 11 certificate lasted til around Nov or Dec of 1989. I don't think any company produced photocertificates into the 90's. If you can think of the company that you believe did please let me know.
