The following coin/medal is for sale or trade. I am planning on putting it on eBay in a week or so. If anybody wants a shot of it beforehand, PM me a price or trade.
...but wait! These aren't ordinary French coins! They're button covers! Made to slide over shirt buttons, I guess. Or maybe to put on a coat with interchangeable buttons. Weird, huh? But wait! Order now and you will also receive the ultra-rare 2002 Lincoln cent used for scale in the image! Order now! Be the first on your block! The envy of all your friends!
Anybody want these damn things? I have six or seven bucks in 'em, but make me an interesting swap offer, or throw me five bucks or something, and they're yours. You can be the fashion crime of your neighborhood.
(Originally bought 'em for Holey Coin Vest version 1.5, but they weren't holey, were too new, and didn't fit.)
Edit- this coin is a bit bigger than even a normal Russian 5-kopeck of the period, but I had to use a smaller resolution, so the pics of it aren't as big.

I'm tryin', believe me. Have imaged maybe 3/4 of the tinfoil box of flips and 2X2's, now. I am hoping for Thursday, if all goes as planned.
Maybe I should quit flappin' my jaws (or my keys) here, and get back to work. 'Puter had another crash earlier, so we went out to dinner and I have not resumed yet.
BTW, there is a Fine example of the big Russian 5-kopeck that will be in my 1-cent eBay auctions. Don: re. your Roman coin question earlier, I was glad to see you put those slabs up- I have some nice Imperial denarii, too, that I was gonna grade choice VF, but after seeing EF45 on the ICG label of one of yours (which is equal in quality to some of the raw ones I have), I might have to rethink that. Not that it matters, in a true auction. The bidder can grade as he pleases.

Not me, though. I have nothing against the French. Or defaced coins.
...depending on how they were defaced, of course.
