It's nice to see you are offering terms.
Just think I could own that puppy with 25% down and 3 easy payments of $2.50 a month.

This is true ethics. One question,... where the hell were you when I bought my first ACG POS?!?!
Good job!
I was fortunate enough to have never bought an ACG slabbed coin.

For those who have called, pm'd or sent an e-mail telling me how I su*k for not educating the public and how I have no backbone, am only hot air, etc. SHOW ME what you have done to educate anybody besides your buddies on the boards.

For those of you who know me, I buy thousands of dollars a month off the BST board. Much of it comes from people who have lost money buying third tier slabs. Do I tell them their coins are worthless? Of course not! I will buy the coin at the actual grade, explain what my perception is wrong with the coin, break it out and sell the coin for the actual grade with any problems noted. Will you?
.
For those who tell me I am supporting the third tier companies and I shouldn't buy the slab that somebody got burned on, let me ask: "If the shoe was on your foot, would you want to be stuck with the coin(s)?" The person who has bought a coin and perceives to have gotten burned, if they have to keep the coin, the hobby has lost that person forever. What's the old saying? One person tells one person who tells.... In that instance, what has that done to the hobby that many of us love? It has given it a black eye to thousands because 'Joe' bought a certified coin where nobody has backed it. Not only did we lose 'Joe,' we have lost 'Joe's family and anybody he comes into contact with who would have been a potential coin collector. If 'Joe' bought a counterfeit coin, I will give them a letter stating the coin is counterfeit and place the value at $0. In some instances, 'Joe' can take the loss off his income taxes.
.
When you try to educate people, educate them about the pitfalls of overgrading, cleaning, etc and make them educated. Don't educate them by slandering or badmouthing a company or individual.

I can't quite see the thumbprint on the Quarter. Am I just not looking at the coin right?
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

Bravo Michael!
All of your statements in this thread, as well as the other thread on the lawsuit are right on. Please keep up the good work, and don't let others try to discourage you.
You are doing well, subject 15837. You are a good person.
Later, Paul.
