And i'm not talking about working in the park either. I got two harder to find SA proof 1/2ds today in the mail. The 1950 (mintage 500) and the 1959 (mintage 900). My set of proof 1/2ds is complete from 1948-1960!! The dealer also had a 1944 1/2d proof so I snagged that too. The goal is to complete a set from 1923-1960 (many years none were produced), but the limited mintages of a few of them (16pcs, 20pcs,.. etc) will make it a lifelong ambition.
Here's my have list:
1923 x3
1944 x2
1945
1948 thru 1960.

D'you reckon when you complete your set, it'll be the only complete one? Some o' dem tings had pretty minuscule mintages. I knew when I completed my Irish set that there were less than 500 such sets in the world- far less- since 500 was the mintage of the rarest coin in there.
But, shoot, I guess 500 is a common date in your set. That's another thing I like about early proofs- they look like a coin should, and they're scarce.

That's no dups for spinnaker. They all tone differently he says.
Can we at least see their pictures side by side?
