This is the first time the U.S. Mint struck a Franklin Half Dollar in it's true face value!

I just wish I had the money to bid on this gem!

BUT LUCY, the bid is up to $2900.00 and I wish I was holding an the high bid with being able to go higher!
That is one special error I'd love to have, regardless of the holder! No problem from me that it is an ICG!

I believe it did close at $2900 and was the only bid watching the auction live!
