I didn't know him however I'd like to convey my regret and sorrow to his family for their loss. From what I've read here it seems like he was a hell of a guy and will be sorely missed.
I feel for his close friends and his family. Having gone through too many losses in the last few years myself, I really feel for his family. I wish them the best in this hardest of times, and may the fondest memories always stay with them.
Rest in peace Mike......you are in a better place and God will help you watch over your family now. Now you can get out of that chair and run like the wind...............you will be missed, but you will see your loved one's again.
After reviewing seven pages of threads expressing condolences and heartfelt sympathy there seems little to add other than to echo what has already been said. It is apparent though that Bigindie was able to live life just a little more fuller because of the opportunity he had to share his interests with others here on this forum. Reading Chiefbob's report on how our hobby and his participation in it provided happy memories and experiences of value to BigIndie affirms what so often goes unsaid - that this is truly a community of caring and selfless individuals. As I noted in my own post at the beginning of this New Year, I remain impressed by the thoughtfulness of those who come here and share their time and expertise with others. That sentiment is confirmed by the outpouring of concern and shared loss posted on this thread with regard to BigIndie and his family.
Let me say that I too enjoyed his post's. And while I did not know Mike personally, I feel a sense of loss . My condolences to his family, and to the members here that knew him well.In the short time that he was here , he touched many lives. He will be missed.

While I didn't know Mike, it is with deep regret that we hear of the passing of one of our own. My thoughts go out to him and his family. Mike touched a number of people on these boards. May he find peace.
