some heat. As I type this the temp is -4°F with a wind chill of -24°F. One would think this is Minnesota or Canada.

  • 0....zero C......... is freezing....32 F. I just checked, on my patio, which is in the direct sun it is approx. 8 C.

Here is the formula for ya.

    C x 1.8 + 32 = F

    Feel any warmer now?

Edit: I typed the formula wrong.........image

19 degrees F here. That's positively balmy since the average temp in January is 11 F.

Edited to add: NO! I'm no there now, nor could I bloody afford it, but it's nice to dream. And Don, -4 F is peanuts. Grab your camping gear and head over to Mount Washington if you're looking for a refreshing afternoon....of course, it may be your last afternoon!! image

You're getting what we had here in Oregon a week or so ago. It's now back into the mid to upper 30's during the day now but it was one cold sum beach for a week or so....

    Or Buffalo. image

It was around 80 degrees on Wednesday, but it's cooled down to the 70's again. image

  • If current weather patterns hold it will be bitterly cold for the Long Beach show at the end of the month - highs won't be much over 73F during the days (that's about 23C to you, Newbie).image

The temp got above 0 Degrees F this afternoon. First time since Monday. The wind has been 10 to 20 MPH to make things even worse.

I'm hiding in my house today because it was 30 degrees Celsius when I left Brazil and minus-16 degrees when I arrived yesterday morning in Washington, dressed for the beach. image

71 when I went to work the day before yesterday. Yesterday was a bit colder- in the mid to high fifties, I think.

Poor Don. He even brought a bizarre arctic blast down to Orlando with him. That was the chilliest Florida weather I can recall experiencing in some time.
