Grades came back today...

from ANACS for afew items. I am mentioning this in a thread because one of the coins I thought was the subject of an earlier thread. The Victoria 1/2d 1860 Beaded Border was graded MS63 BRN. I tried to get them to put something on the label in connection with the repuched I in VICTORIA but that didn't go anywhere... perhaps they are still chuckling about that .

The 1820 George IIII 1/2 Crown that I thought was attractive was graded MS64.

I submitted an 1829 shilling that I thought was an attractive original...beautiful steel gray color with a flair of blue as the coin is tilted. It was obviously circulated and was graded EF40 which is probably about right. I had hoped for a 45. I like the look of the coin and that is all that matters.

I submitted a French Charles X 5 Francs dated 1828A. Another nice original...it was graded EF45.

Other than the 1/2 Crown, the 1936 Peso from the Philippines was my favorite and I thought it was quite attractive. It was graded MS64.

Someday I when I get a camera, figure out how it use it and then figure out how post pictures here, there will be pictures posted. I have a feeling its going to be awhile...image
