SEVERAL RECORD PRICES FOR THE HELLER COMMEMS TONIGHT AT FUN

wondercoinwondercoin Posts: 16,979 ✭✭✭✭✭
Congratulations Steve on the overall incredible prices realized for your first (8) Commems that sold tonight in the Platinum Sale at Heritage!! A few of the highlights were a Hudson in PCGS-MS67 at a staggering $31,000 (including perhaps the loudest round of applause of the evening from those in attendance at the sale for this coin) , a Long Island in PCGS-MS67 at $20,000+, a Columbia SC in PCGS-MS68 at around $15,000 and a Pan-Pac in PCGS-MS67 at around $11,000. Other than the Long Island, these coins were not "monster color" coins, but, overall, the collection was a tribute I believe to the goal of technical perfection. The remainder of the collection sells on Saturday morning and I expect additional record prices on a few specimens.

GREAT JOB HERITAGE ON THE MARKETING OF THIS COLLECTION AS WELL, INCLUDING THE BRAINSTORM OF "PLATINUM NIGHT" image

Once again, proof positive, search and seek and obtain top quality coins and when it comes time to sell reap the benefits.

Nice going Steve. You and your coins deserve it.

Thank you Pat, Mitch, Heritage, and the commem bidders. What an incredible night. The market is truely realizing the rarity of the technically perfect coin for the grade. It is good to see that comsummate quality is being strongly appreciated. The round of applause following the sale of the Hudson was an indescribable exhileration. image

Best wishes on your next endeavour Steve. I believe I was lucky enough to get two of your coins (cheapies image), so they will still be living in Oregonimage------------------BigE

Thank you E and Clank. l did ok, and may not put it all in the stock market. The next series I'd like to attempt is offered only on a "need to know basis". image

There is only one person in this market whom I opt to put my ultimate trust in.
Wondercoin (and probably ms68...) will be the only "in the know" until it's obvious... image
    Thank you two!

  • Steve,
Congrats on the sale of your coins. I was fortunate to acquire your Long Island. It is the finest of which I have ever seen. Monster color and technical perfection to boot. It will be in my collection for many years to come. Good luck on your future coin collecting endeavors.
