Whats a 1/2 Stuber?

I found this coin in a box of coins given to me by my grandfather. I have no idea what it is. It's an old copper coin and has turned quite dark over the years. The obverse (or maybe reverse?)

1/2
STUBER
1784

with a couple of star like designs above the word stuber

the other side has this inscription written around the rim
- UNTAGULICHUN - BERGISCHELAND
with some kind of design ive never seen before in the center.

(could be typos)

What the hell is this?

it looks something like that, but there is no inscription around the side that says 1/2 stuber, the inscription is around the other side (the one with the nifty design)
