Mrs. ajaan and I saw this movie today. FANTASTIC! If you don't object to mild gore, bare breasts and butts, I highly recommmend it.

    We just went out and watched "The Last Samurai" yesterday. Pretty violent, but superbly done! (Of course, they over-romanticized the Samurai, but, hey, this is Hollywood.image)

    We saw Samuri last week. Good flick but not as good as Cold Mountain IMO. We also saw The Human Stain w/Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins. Not as good as the other two. Can you tell we are both teachers and have some free time on our hands?

    Beth, you must get out more. image The Human Stain was at a 'artsy' theatre so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of that. Cold Mountain on the other hand has been very widely hyped.
