Well i didn't get off to very good start with my first posting ( using all caps in the material) i wasn't yelling at anyone. but i do like collecting the 42-45 series jeffersons. happy new year.

I've thought they were neat since I was a kid because of the big, honkin' mint mark.

NickelCollector has a few War Nickels? What an understatement!
I have one of those Applachian hoard war nickels. Wait a sec, I think I have a photo somewhere... ah here it is:
There were a bunch of coins that came out of the Applachian mountains, I'm not sure which state. There were lots of war nickels and a few Morgans and other stuff. Apparently lots didn't tone as nicely. They are held tightly and patiently so they didn't flood the market and are still pricey. The details on how they toned this way are not clear.
