For a moment there I thought I was on eBay. Is this an advertisment or something?

I agree with you
another that is starting to move is silver Roosevelts
but both of these I must consider a "poor mans" classic
Circulated war nickels are absurdly cheap too. Most go for less than melt value
and the high grade examples are scarce yet command no premium. There are
also several highly desirable varieties.
BY THE WAY, YOU'LL HAVE TO SPEAK UP! WE CAN'T HEAR YOU!

<< <i>If you're going to pay $50 for a war nickel you would be well advised to choose a different war. >>
Appalachian hoard war nickels go for much higher than that because they are so darn good looking!
<< <i>If you can survive the innauguration >>
Wouldn't that be initiation?

<< <i>I THINK WAR NICKELS ARE GREAT HERE IS ONE OF MINE DO YOU THINK IT WILL *WAKE UP* SOON IT LOOKS A LITTLE SLEEPY I FOUND IT IN CIRCULATION IT COST ME FIVE CENTS WOW IT IS ALREADY WORTH 400% OF MY INVESTMENT DOES ANYONE WANT TO BUY THIS FABULOUS COIN FROM ME?
I LIKE THAT ONE. IT HAS PERSONALITY.
Should I go through them and see if they actually have any numismatic value? I doubt any of them grade better than VF.
Personally, I think they are ugly.

I just sold one last night with lamination problems but has 2-P's a 1943 - PP
I got that one in an estate auction in Western Massachusettes last year. The guy had boxes full of coins - everything from slabs to proof sets, liteside and dark. I didn't even see the nickels until I got to the bottom of one of the boxes - a pleasant surprise.

that was the only forties I found - but several fifities also. Well at least I plugged a couple of holes.
