I bought my wife a Singer sewing machine for Christmas that was made in 1876 and is in "XF" condition, works wonderfully, and it only cost $250.00 My aunt-in-law says that some of the more cool sewing machines can cost over $15,000.00 in "MS-65". They can do all kinds of interesting things that older machines cannot do, including being electrically powered.

Ah,but you overlook the fact that its the much sought after 1982-D double spindle deluxe, with a production
of only 176,500 units.
I can see the guy with a rating of 3 putting in a kooky bid like that, but the second highest bidders
rating is over 100,all +.
Strange.
That's Mr. Stupid to you.
Some folks just want the modern stuff.

This has got to be a joke, right?
Is this some rare type of machine? It looks pretty new.
It says right there in the auction listing that the retail price at Sears is $149.99.
