What a Christmas!

My wife came through with a suprise - all of the yearly Canadian Proof commemorative dollars from 1971 through 1994 - all in two Capital plastic holders. Is this a wife or what!!
I know this is a lousy picture but it was all I could do at the time.

    Wow! image

I think I'm gettin' an electric shaver. I say "I think", because what little Christmas we do in our household (mostly for the benefit of Miss Victoria), is pretty low key, and we won't open presents 'til Saturday or Sunday. We're both working, and since my wife is working graveyard shifts, Victoria is with grandparents this Christmas. My birthday's on Sunday the 28th, and we're goin' down to St. Pete, Florida, to visit my Mom, whose birthday is the next Sunday, January 4th, so we'll do a 3-in-1 celebration while we're down there.

Those coins look awesome in the Capital plastic holders.

What a wifely! A very nice gift it is, Shep!

I didn't get anything of the sort from my wife and it serves me right. After all, she got what no wife ever wants to get for Christmas - a toaster!!!image

The only coin gift I got was from my in-laws, who are fabulous people. They sent me a 1983 prestige US proof set. US coins aren't my thing, but the thought was really nice!

Shep, do you think your wife would be willing to sit down and talk to my wife?
