    Yup!
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Hard to tell from the scan without holding the coin & catching the light just right, but I can just barely make out striations (perhaps?) under liberty's pole/cap and next to her knee. Eagle's left wing looks too shiney at high point of wear, but I know little of 20 cent pieces.
    Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

    tough with scan, not sure if there's a ding on surfaces or if it's an abrasive mask. Need a close-up on this one, plus an expert in this series.

    I'm no expert...but I think if you have a really good whizzer, you won't see a lot of prominent striations, especially without a loupe. The flattish non-cartweeling luster on the obverse tipped me off....

    Can you really tell a lack of cartwheel from this image?

    If this coin was original and in AU condition as he professes, wouldn't he be trumpeting it to the sky?

    What aspect of the strike causes the denticles at the obverse top to be lower than the rim but higher at the bottom?

    Can't say for sure. It could just be flat from a scanner pic, rather than digicam. Or, maybe it's made of pewter!
