Coin Movies

I have seen a lot of astounding photographic skills on this forum and was wondering if anyone had ever tried to record a QuickTime movie or other format to really show what the coin might look like if actually held.

I've thought about it. Many digital cameras can also take some small movies. The quality is never the best however and having a lot of them eats up a lot of bandwith. One advantage of it would be to give an indication of what the luster is like, but you can get the same effect by taking a few images of the coin at different angles/lighting and have greater detail.
