I've been watching for many months for one of these, and finally found one that doesn't look cleaned. There's actually a decent original looking 1867 dated one on Ebay, but a closer look shows rim damage. Grr.
Now I just need the Maximilian 50 centavos, and 20 Peso gold.

Regarding the slabbed grade, it looks accurate to me...slight rub on the obverse high points (forehead, cheekbone, & front/back of bust truncation), and the eagle's right wing on the reverse is weak. This is the best looking one I've seen since I started watching for them probably last May. Usually I see then in F/VF and with a cleaned look to them. Plus, I've wondered if this is one of the coins being reproduced in Asia, so the slab is an extra measure of comfort.

I'd like to see your set when it's finished. Not only do the coins look nice, they make an interesting reminder of France's failed policy of renewed imperialism in the Americas.
