Well! Isn't THIS going to be a popularity contest!

Who's going to the PCGS luncheon, and who's going to the NGC??

jom

Wow. I didn't know the LB show was that early. I thought it was going to be in LATE Feb...OR is this lunch NOT at the same time as the show? Just wondering....

jom

Tootawl

I'm going to the NGC party in Orlando on Jan 9th

Long Beach (Jan 30) is a bit far to go for a free lunch.

kieferscoins

I would love to go, but didn't receive an invitation since I no longer have a set registry.

Will PCGS make samples for the meeting like they did last time?

And I've been using mine as a door stop!

I don't know if I can make it, but I'll try. I have four or more registry sets, but I don't think they have my newest e-mail address.

If I recall, the samples were given out during a lunch that was NOT sponsored by PCGS but put together by the board. There were no samples given out during the registry lunch in Baltimore, so I doubt that will change. The lunch was great though.

kieferscoins

You are correct about the samples.

I would consider the lunch a PCGS sponsored event. Miles Standish came and paid for it on a PCGS credit card.

Miles was there and did pay, thanks again Miles. I think Mitch got the ball rolling if I remember correctly. I still have my Sample slab as well.

But wait! No one answered my question. The LB show is Jan 30th!!! Hell, that is extremely EARLY for this show. Sure we have the correct dates???

Maybe they just sent that out to see how many people would show up.

I was bit bummed out that they didn't have any special slabs for the Baltimore lunch.
