I was flipping thru the channels and HSN is hawking a full set of SAEs graded MS69 by ICG. The guy was trying to say what a great deal they were by comparing their price to the price of Peace dollars at the same grade. WHAT???? Lets compare the price of Ford Escorts to the price of a Mercedes Benz why not?

I just happened to flip to the channel when they were advertising a set of 32 IKEs for $470.00.

Two things.

1) The kept saying it was only $117.00, but they neglected to mention it was $117.00 for 4 months!
2) They claimed that only 8 coins were ever in circulation.

Jeremy summed it up very nicely. They lie regularly and are scum of the highest order.
I have called them but was unable to get a hold of the demonic parties in question. They reguarly tout exceedingly common coins as "RARE", they regularly give out incorrect numismatic history to suit their sales pitch. I hope they rot in hell. They are a fork of the Axis of Evil.

Spraying would apply too much... plating done in a vacuum does the trick... it works in my dad's lab
