1000th post "Thanks" to all
To recognize my 1000th post and Thanksgiving, I would like to formally thank the PCGS message board community as a group. I have learned a lot, laughed a lot, and enjoyed participating. It truly has enhanced my appreciation of our great hobby.
Special thanks go to....
HomeRunHall and Carolj for providing and supporting the forum.
Dahlonega for introducing me to, well, Dahlonega.
DaveG for becoming my first collecting buddy...even though I have never met him in person (but hope to in the near future).
Russ for his humor, honesty, transparency, and slab caddies.
Coinguy1 for showing a lot of great coins (making me wish that it wasn't gold I was after!) and the adult supervision.
Laura for providing the high end perspective.
SethChandler for the outstanding questions and insights.
CoinLieutenant for his knowledge, enthusiasm, and for letting me buy a large cent that I always wanted but did not really need.
Darktone for teaching me how to grade and appreciate coronet gold.
Lucy for sharing Frankies and Be Bop a Lula.
Clankeye for the great tales.
Lordmarcovan for filling the holes.
mrcommem for trying to meet me in St. Louis.
Wingedliberty for his lists.
Dorkkarl for taking the other side.
Lakesamman and mgoodm3 for being colleagues in work and play.
Anaconda for sharing his beauties and his passion.
Airplanenut for showing me that there is hope for the future.
FC57 for the instructional series.
FatMan for holding a certain 1858 coin until I am ready for it
Julian for inviting me to PNG Day--some day I will take him up on it.
If I have omitted/misspelled/miscategorized anyone, my apologies. I have enjoyed my first 1000 posts and look forward to the next 1000.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Robert

Perhaps we can start a thread for the 1000th post club.
JO,
I am not sure I understand the reference...I do not wear glasses or own a pocket protector...I am wearing white socks, but only because I just completed a ten mile run and have not taken them off yet
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.
Always looking for nice type coins

Happy Thanksgiving.
From your posts, you have made many forum friends and shared a lot of thoughts.
Lots to be thankful for.
Playtime is always at a premium. We are 2+ rads understaffed. At least yesterday was light and tomorrow should be as well.
Work hard/play hard works for me.
