So did it come with the photocertificate?

You don't see too many of those anymore. Good catch.

Can't remember seeing one of those. When were they in use?

    Thanks Michael,

The auction description says that the photocertificate IS included, but they did not post a pic of it.

I don't think that I did to bad for $46.00

Very nice coin. I would grade her MS66PL. I also had an NCI slab once. I traded her in towards my 1893-S Morgan. The dealer I traded with made a remark that he thought the note on the reverse was unusual, and he had never seen an NCI certificate.

    Thanks Dan,

Although I bought it for the Slab, if the coin is as nice as the photo looks it will be a very, very nice bonus image

Here is the same pic with "Auto Levels" adjusted in PhotoShop.

I already have a NCI Jeremy, but not one with a photocert. Nice coin and a good price!

The NCI photocertificates were used from Dec 1984 through early 1989 and come in 8 different varieties. The NCI slab was used in conjunction with the last two varieties but probably late in the issuance of NCI 7 (I have seen an NCI slab paired with an NCI 7 certificate but the NCI 8 certificate has a clause on it that matches the one on the slab. NCI 7 does not so the slab was probably issued at the tail end of the NCI 7's.) so they started around Feb of 88 and they continued for a short period after the certificates ended so till around mid 1989 possibly.
