I ran across this on ebay & wanted to know if this is a real error or punched? I am not big on lincoln errors.

Not a Mint error. Someone punched the numbers in the coin outside the Mint and threw it into a roll.

I could make those all day long. Manufactured housing plants use this exact same punch to stamp the serial number into the front steel crossmember as homes are introduced into production.
