A salute to all who have served, and to all who are currently serving........

If you are able, save for them a place
inside of you. And save one backward
glance when you are leaving, for the
places they can no longer go.

Be not ashamed to say you loved them,
though you may or may not have always.

Take what they have left, and what they
have taught you with their dying and keep
    it with your own.

And in that time, when men decide and
feel safe to call the war insane,
take one moment to embrace those gentle
    heroes you left behind.

US Air Farce, 1965 - 1987 3 tours in Nam, 15 Years in Europe.

Salute to all veterans, those that are with us, and those that are with us in Loving Memory.

My Daughter, Capt USAF, just returned from Iraq yesterday. She just finished her second tour.

Wish they would take me back in, I would not mind giving just a little more back to my country, but I think that my last "FIGMO" and "PCOD" has passed.

Salute to all veterans - young and old. A tribute to my Father, a WWII veteran, and my Grandfather, a WWI veteran, and a mention for my son who was in Navy, and my son, who was in Air Force, and now Air National Guard. God bless all of the soldiers and families of those who are currently serving overeas. My prayers that they all return home safely.
