Nice ships , shep! The Davis is one of my Canadian favorites. There is a very striking cameo contrast between the iceberg and the ship/water.

Thanks Joe - The cameo effect as well as the ship is what really caught my eye

I know that feeling. My wife wants me to liquidate the whole bloomin' lot of them, especially given the latest British coin market trends for certain types and denominations. She can't understand this British coin obsession I have. I can't say I have a good reason to give her for it either.image

I must admit, my wife has never complained about me buying coins. In fact, she usually questions me when I sell something from my collection. She wants to make sure I really want to sell it. I sure wished I listened to her when I sold a certain 1799 1/2d.image

    Nice coins, Shep.

Cameos don't get much more Cameo than the 87. Yes indeed, they would give that the coveted "Ultra Heavy Cameo" in a heartbeat.
