I finally had a little time to play around with some imaging regarding my two Goetz Pattern sets from 1913. Here is a shot of the 2 Mark piece. Something of interest, Goetz reverse engraved the dies by hand. This is much more difficult than making a wax model and subsequent plaster model which was reduced and engraved by machine. Goetz was truely a Master engraver.
