    It's not a ANACS product. Text
  • I am suprised they were able to put the ANACS logo on the plastic.

    Did anyone notice the following conditions in this seller's auction description?

    USA Buyer pays $25.00 for s+h+i (I always ship insured for your protection, and I absorb any difference).

    Sales of all Third-Party Graded (i.e., "slabbed") products are FINAL.

    So the grade can't be the ANACS grade, right? I'm paying for an MS 65 1921 Peace dollar on layaway right now, and if I could get an MS 66 version of both 1921 dollars for $600, I should be in the corner with a dunce cap.

    Does ANACS have anything whatsoever to do with these coins? Maybe they were taken from ANACS slabs, and are therefore "authentic" as indicated on the front of the double slab, but the MS 66 grade has got to be the fantasy of whoever put the new slab together.

    1921(P) Morgan Silver Dollar: Total Mintage = 44,690,000; LAST in series, struck in "High Relief";

    I thought 1921 Morgans were from the lowest relief dies made in that design.

    Well, it's an eBay auction, so I should expect some misinformation.
