I lost my Light

There is no comparison between natural light and Reveal bulbs when it comes to photographing bronze. Reveal, or any other lighting for that matter, just doesn't cut it trying to get the bronze at its best. The lights tend to flatten all colors and relief of the medal. So, in a nutshell, I'm not wasting my time on more medal imaging until I have some sunshine to work with again.

    Why,is Oregon considered a sunny state? I was only aware of its famous (Oregon) pine wood .See you next year cache image

    PS: If it's any consolation,my front door is made out of beautiful ,problem free Oregon pine ( not to be confused with the cheaper common peach pine ) image

    I can't believe in this day and age there are no bulbs that would duplicate natural light to the extent that you require to continue feeding us the images we have all fallen in love with. Try harder!image I'll be looking for product for you as I can.
    Edited to add: have you thought of surrounding the coin or medal with the warm glow of several coleman lanterns?image
