This coin is now on eBay. Please click on the link to my eBay store, below. It should show up there around 6 p.m. Pacific time, Thursday, Oct. 23.
Truly one of the most beautiful Jefferson nickels that I have, orange halos encircle the portrait of Jefferson in the odd luminescence that can typify the strikes of the 1940s nickels. Fields and devices are swirled delicately with orange and blue, as lustrous light simply beams off of the surfaces. The eye appeal is simply unreal, especially if you like toned coins. Steps are, of course, 6-6-6-6, and all devices show clearly and without blemish to the naked eye.
I have attached a photo of the coin. This coin does not photograph as well as I'd like it to, showing up a bit streaky, which it's not. Please email me for a larger picture.
Populations are 1 with NGC and 1 with PCGS.
