  • I remember once someone was laying out this same stuff to me with a 1965 Redbook. I asked if he had been collecting in 1965 and he said yes. So, I posed the most obvious question, 'Why didn't you buy that stuff then at those prices?' He said that he couldn't afford it then - right, you couldn't afford it then and you can't afford it now. Those prices were not cheap. And remember that had to be disposable income.
