I'd had a call from these guys in June and posted here about it. Others had mentioned how they also received unsolicited calls. When I began to explain to the guy that I had no idea how he had gotten my number and I'd spoken with some other people about it who had received similar calls, he said "You're an a##hole" and hung up on me!!!!image

Oh, well.............

What a shame that people like these cast such a bad light on the good dealers....

  • I think one of the dealers I bought from once sold my name. I bought a few Morgans once from a dealer and next thing I know I was getting calls from various Morgan dealers. One even had the balls to leave a message with my roomie saying he was a friend from college (no name) and to call him back because he wanted to catch up.

I can think of a dozen reasons not to have high capacity magazines, but it's the reasons I haven't thought about that I need them.

    hey Abe

after he introduced himself, i told him that i remembered him calling me back in June and that i had spoken with some others who had received calls similar to mine. i stated that i didn't know how he obtained my contact information but that i thought he was running some kind of a scam, whereupon he cut me off in mid-sentence with ""You're an a##hole" and hung up!!!! the visual picture i had was him sticking out his tongue and saying "Nah, Nah" as he hung up the phone to dial the next prospect.

i think i'm safe in assuming he won't be calling here again. oh yeah, no caller ID. wow, is that surprising!!

  • keets,

According to a judge in Tennessee and one in Colorado you are preventing these people from making a living. These judges have blocked the do not call list that every House member voted for except for 8 of the misguided.

Think of all the hungry mouths these scammers have to feed. They should be treated with respect and dignity. Never mind if you are not interested, it should not always be about you, think about "them" and be cooperative.

Next time they call say, "thank you sir, may I have another"! image The world will be a better place.
