A lot of people here rag on ebay for being a dumping ground for low end coins, but I have been very pleased with most of the stuff I've bought on ebay...never sent one back.
Just got an NGC AU 50 95-S Morgan that looks at least a 53...and an NGC EF 40 capped CC 79-CC that go probably go 45 or even 50 on a good day, compared to the other NGC and PCGS Morgans I have in the collection.

Hi Airplanenut -
In 2004 you wrote an article for PCGS saying that Boulton's Soho mint had struck the Washington Cent coins. Soho would have struck those coins in late 1791 or 1792. How do you know that it was Soho Mint that struck them? Also you said that Benjamin Franklin was the liaison between Soho and George Washington however, Franklin died in April 1790 before they were made. Are you referring to only the 1791 Washington President large and small eagle cents or including the 1792 dated Washington President coins as well?

I've easily been on over a dozen forums the past couple decades and this wins the award for the oldest thread revive I've ever seen. 19 years

Why do these new guys dig up the old 💩 ? Do they think they have to start at the beginning?
So a few thoughts...
1- Is there not a better way to ask a question than to dig up a completely random and wholly unrelated thread started over 18 years ago?
2- That was a paper I wrote... checks notes... upwards of 19 years ago. Sources should have been cited, but are no longer sitting on my desk, which has moved many times since writing that paper. So off hand, I'll say, I have no idea.
3- I'm 99% sure this is the coin from the OP. If I'm right, I bought it from a bad picture, eventually sold it, bought it again when it was relisted with another bad picture, and then sold it once more. Keep in mind these photos are REALLY old... like this thread.
