I was just wondering what you thought about the lines above and below the 'One Cent' on the reverse. Im new to US coins. Were those lines scratched out intentionally?

Doc: "Marty! I didn't invent the time machine for financial gain. The intent here is to gain a clear perception of humanity. Where we've been, where we're going. The pitfalls and the possibilities. The perils and the promise. Perhaps even an answer to that universal question, why?"

While it is a nice looking coin, it is a problem coin, and there's no need to overpay for a damaged US large cent from somebody in England when there are plenty of nicer ones available from forum members. I don't think I have any that are that high grade, but I do have many in the G-F range and maybe one in VF. Somebody has a PCGS AU55 listed on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, but that's bound to cost a little more.
