"Colorized" 2003 Silver Eagle
I scanned this right before I dropped a whole bunch of coins off at the safe deposit box. I was wondering what kind of value this might actually have down the road, other than what I paid for it ($19.00 per coin/4 coins).
I thought it looked neat, though I doubt if it will have much value. The scan itself DOES NOT do it justice. It's actually some sort of gold paint with "hologram"-type stuff in it, hence the funky looking scan.

If it was one of those candy-striped ones, I don't like the looks of those. Not quite sure how to describe other than (to me) it's not appealing. This one though, with the different contrast of gold and silver, I thought had good eye-appeal. Even with the eye, when you look closer, then you can start to see the "hologram" stuff in the gold paint. As I said, the scan doesn't do it justice, it actually makes it look kinda crappy....

Not to worry, though... it's "interesting" ugly, not "hideous" ugly.
